This liberation party flag is very similar to the
Viet-Cong flag.

The flag of the party is also presented on the party blog (3 March 2009): "Viduthalai
Chiruthaigal Katchi flag represent marvelous meaning. The flag equally shared in
sky blue and red color. Top half of the flag filled in blue then the remaining
bottom of the flag filled with red color and center of the flag white star with
five ends."
On the graphic representation of the flag, the star is much
smaller than on the actual flags spotted in the demonstration.
